Bible Overview Chart
$12.99Add to cartThe Bible Overview Chart, by Kenneth E. Malberg, is one terrific Bible study aid, whether you are a Sunday school or homeschool teacher or using it for personal study! Essentially, the chart enables one to continually keep the part being studied within the framework of the entire Bible. It is a “blueprint” if you will.
The chart shows all 66 books of the Bible and is divided into Old and New Testaments, one on each side. It is large, approximately 34 x 16 inches, but folds neatly for easy storage. Starting in 1800 BC and going through 100AD it offers a general outline of each book’s content, a chapter by chapter summary, and color-coded geographical settings matching 19 Bible land maps. In addition, it shows the historical or chronological setting, the book’s writer, and the time it was written. What a picture of God’s Word!
Significant events are highlighted, and it is easy to see the relationship between books when viewed in this way. My 8-year-old could easily find the books he was looking for, what the general content was, and how it related in the “big picture”. His retention will be the greater because he can “see” the Bible as well as read it.
Fascinating to sit and study, awesome as a learning aid, this is one chart every homeschool should have!
